Spice things up!

A great way to beat the heat this weekend is by eating more chili peppers.  Chili peppers contain capacaicin, a chemical that helps you perspire more!  So, take the family out to your favorite spicy restaurant and when they ask if you want the extra hot peppers, say yes!

Fact or Myth?

Is Antifreeze good for 150,000 miles?

False, if you let it go for that long the anitfreeze will start to go acidic causing many problems with your car.  Changing your antifreeze will prevent any premature gasket failure.  Ever sit at a traffic light and not have heat, but when you start driving the heat gets hot again?

Did you know.....

Did you know that windshield wipers were invented by a woman?

Mary Anderson received a patent for her car-window cleaning device in 1903.

While on a trip to New York City, Anderson noticed that drivers had to open their car windows when it rained in order to see.  That's when the idea of a swinging arm device with a rubber blade that would be controlled by the driver to clean the window came to her.
